Windermere Valley’s FIS Team has grown to 10 full time racers. This September the Ski team had the amazing opportunity to go to Carralco, Chile with OST.

It was the start to a great season ahead. Although we endured 80 km winds and some big storms we made the most of every day. When the weather didn’t cooperate we participated in various activities such as; hiking, cooking competitions and taking a scenic trip to the hot springs.

We had the opportunity to train 3 disciplines including SG which was a highlight for most athletes. As well, we were able to maximize our time on snow and build excitement and motivation. There was lots of growth and progression throughout the trip and we think it was a great way to kick off the season! After making the long journey home and taking some time off, the team is back in the gym getting ready to kick some butt in the races ahead.
