Welcome to Windermere Valley Ski Club!

Windermere Valley Ski Club is one of Canada’s most accomplished Alpine Ski Racing Clubs based out of Panorama Mountain Village in British Columbia’s Kootenay Zone. We have deep roots in the Columbia Valley dating back to the early 1960s. Our club draws athletes from throughout the Columbia Valley and beyond, has a culture of excellence coupled with a history of achievement.

WVSC boasts some pretty impressive Alumni over the years from Provincial Team to National, World Cup winning racers to Olympians. We are incredibly proud to have two amazing Alumni athletes in the 2023 Canadian National Team, Amelia Smart and Courtney Hoffos we will cheer for them from our little corner of the globe as they go on to realize their dreams.

As a registered BC Alpine Club We are a what is considered a Multi-Sport Club aligning with Alpine Canada Alpin Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)(as well as the many other national sporting organizations) WVSC offer a comprehensive year round program. This means that your child will get the opportunity in the ‘off-season’ to experience other sports that build a variety of skills, agility, health and fitness as well as team camaraderie.  Our kids meet during the summer for Hikes, Bike rides, various ball and team sports. Parents/guardians and siblings are often welcome too.
